LEANDRA RAMM spent the last few years performing regularly across the country and abroad. She recently sang Leila in IOLANTHE at the International Gilbert and Sullivan Festival performed at the Buxton Opera House in England. She also created the role of Silvestra in the professional premiere of MARIO AND THE MAGICIAN performed with the Center for Contemporary Opera. She is featured on the CD of the work, under the Albany Records label. Leandra has performed at La MaMa, ETC in NYC in a highly successful production called WIN WIN POWER AUCTION, created and directed by Uwe Mengel. Other recent performances include Antonia in MAN OF LA MANCHA with the Diablo Light Opera Company performed at the Lesher Center for the Arts in California and Estelle in THE FULL MONTY with The Media Theater. She has also completed apprenticeships, outreach tours and performances with Arizona Opera, Toledo Opera, Opera Carolina, Des Moines Metro Opera, Sarasota Opera and New Jersey Opera.
Ms. Ramm debuted at the age of 14 as a soloist in Kurt Weill's THE ETERNAL ROAD with the American Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Leon Botstein and performed at Avery Fisher Hall. The following year, Ms. Ramm covered the role of the 1st Spirit in DIE ZAUBERFLÖTE with the Opera Orchestra of New York. Ms. Ramm has additionally performed with Aspen Opera Theater Center where she performed in a BERNSTEIN ON BROADWAY GALA with broadway star Judy Kaye, conducted by David Zinman and also in RIGOLETTO under the baton of Maestro Julius Rudel. Leandra has also performed Dorabella in COSÌ FAN TUTTE with the Martina Arroyo Foundation Prelude to Performance and sang Hansel in HANSEL AND GRETEL and Meg in LITTLE WOMEN, both with Center City Opera Theater at the renowned Kimmel Center in Philadelphia.
Ms. Ramm has appeared and sung on television programs around the world. Such programs include: CNN Anderson Cooper 360, The View, Good Morning America, 60 Minutes, 60 Minutes Australia and the BBC as well as appearing on radio broadcasts and magazines. Celebrities such as Barbara Walters, Anderson Cooper, Star Jones, Morley Safer and Robin Roberts have interviewed Leandra.
